The Red Sox have already taken 2 of 3 from the AL Central-leading Cleveland Indians and look to secure a series win against the American League champs with ace Chris Sale on the rubber tonight. Sale struggled a bit in his last start giving up 4 ER’s against the Yankees 5 days ago leading to his 5th loss of the 2017 campaign and upping his league-leading ERA to 2.62. Sale will look for his 1st victory since August 8th when he dominated the Rays, shutting them out over 8 innings. With a win tonight, Sale will again take over the league lead with 15. Trevor Bauer takes the mound for the Tribe this evening, looking to improve on a 12-8 record and 4.50 ERA. Bauer has pitched well over his last few starts, including a victory over division rival Royals last time out, going 6 ⅓ innings and giving up 7 hits and striking out 4 for the W.
